A journey through the countryside to a camp, where lots of activities took place.
We set off from the house, down the road and up an overgrown lane. We collected some mint, ate some blackberries and picked some honesty. We walked up to the road, through the woods and down to the top of valley. We stopped and had some fruit and mini rolls, kindly shared by Alejandro and Rhys. Another small walk and we arrived at camp, 'deadwood camp'. Mud everywhere! Lunch was set up an the fire, eventually, lit. The popcorn was put on the fire and everyone watched it popping. Soon after the rain stopped. Barney cut some wood and some boys made bashers and decorated them. Later on there was a sing song around the fire, including 'the meatball song', 'the apples and bananas song' and he favourite 'the irish rugby anthem'.
'Who is the muddiest' competition (judged by Barney) - 1st place Tycho / Oliver & 2nd place Boris.
Best bits:- Boris - eating a lot of food; Tycho - getting muddy; Ben - marshmallows; Finn - making the bashers; Sebastian - rolling down the hill; Oliver - the camp; Benedict - uhh... all of it; Rhys - going up the muddy slope to get wood cos i got muddy; Alejandro - going to camp; Ollie - walking through big bits of mud
