Swainswick Youth Club is a group of 10 year 7 and year 8 boys who meet on Friday nights and were led by Marcus Muabe, up until early October.  Written by Marcus, Rachel and Edward.  Scroll down for photos.

Fri 18th Nov:-
Only 5 boys this week and we had a very gentile meal with masses of pizza, only 1 was burnt.  The boys then watched the disaster movie called 2012.  It was a bit much for 2 of them so they went off and played games.  The new timetable for the year was given out.

Fri 11th Nov:-

The boys all came to our house for a game of 'Man Hunt' in the garden in the dark and then a planning meeting for the new timetable of events up to sometime in March.

Fri 21st Oct:-
It was George's birthday bash with a full on sleep out under the workshop roof, sumptuous supper, BB Gun warfare game the next day up at Harry's.

Fri 7th Oct:-
We met in Alice Park for a game of football with Mike acting as the referee.  There was only about 5 people in the park.  The score was equal.

Fri 29th:-

Sunny day today. Every arrived quite early. Our activity today was cob building which the boys did so well.  In the building process, the whole event turn into a mud fight games, throwing mud at each other.  Everyone got muddy.  Then there was night football. Harry Ben and Elvin played against Dylan, Tobias and Arthur.  The game was a great one until it was time to go home.

Fri 16th:-

We had a lovely day.  Everyone arrived quite early with their bikes.  Ethan's bike was too small so he was given Marcus' bike, meanwhile Marcus used Rachel's bike.  All was set as we hit the road.  Along the way Marcus had an accident.  He slightly crashed on Georges' bike, he tried to balance up his bike head but he failed.  He fell over on the grass and his bike fell in water.  Some men from a nearby boat came with a long stick and took out the bike.  Everyone surrounded him and one old lady made a tea offer to him, " Would you mind some tea?".  He had just a little bruise.  From thereon he rode on a wet bike.  Where he fell was named 'Marcus Marine', and the bike was named ' The marine bike'.  We continue our tour and suddenly found ourselves into town.  Everyone was brave enough to cycle on the highway.  On our way back we passed along Marcus marine and finally arrived to where we started.  It was fun.

Fri 9th:-

Great day we had today at Harry's house.  Our event of the day was BB gun battle.  Before that we had a feast of pizza, drinks, biscuits and sausages.  We had a brief game of football before setting off to the battle field.  It was great at the battle field, we paired up in two groups, each group took cover in their base and there was a serious gun battle as each group struggled to capture the flag of their opponent.  Arthur fought and his gun got broken, Harry was shut in the head.  Had it been a real battle many would have been dead because Tobias Dylan were shut many times.  We had great fun until it was time to set off.

Fri 2nd:-

What a nice day the Lord had made, we all rejoiced and were glad in it.  Boys all back from their summer holiday with lots of new and funny stories to tell.  Everyone arrived on time.  Some were invited for a sleep over.  We had lots of fun.  We had pizza and drinks - eating chatting and laughing with each other.  Thereafter, we went down the garden field for a rugby match which was quite fun.  Everyone later settled in for a movie which lasted for 2 hours, titled 'Knight and Day'. It was fun.
