An after school club with children aged between 5 and 11 at Upper Swainswick House. Scroll down for diaries.
24th Nov:-
Everyone sat together to enjoy a nice calm tea, with a challenge to be quiet. Anyone breaking the silence had to do Elvis impressions as a fore fit. Outside Seb and Keelan played rugby, football and wrestling until it was pitch dark,.
Inside Rachel was having a massive game of marbles with Mateo and four others.
A delicious smell was coming from the kitchen. Louise was helping Phoebe, Dylan, Theo and Pippa to make jam tarts.
17th Nov:-
A dry bright play session. Arthur and Theo made some chocolate rocky road cakes. Phoebe and Dylan enjoyed a game of draughts. Barney had a geat game of marbles with Harper, Seb, Hendric, Phoebe and Dylan. We have four rescued (exbattery) hens enjoying new freedom in the garden. It is great to see them enjoying the soil and space to roamm. A bonfire was lit outside on request, but those who came out didn't want to wear coats so everyone ended up inside. Seb and Barney finished off the club with a game of Quoridor and Jenga.

What a dynamic club today. Two boys went at it with the boxing gloves and had to be separated. There was a peace meeting, at which harmony was restored.
There was then a fun battle around the tower, before a football game. Seb, Keelan and Jack beat Arthur ad Barney 3 - 1. Good fair game.
As the light faded and the full moon rose people did stunts on scooters on the patio.
Inside Edward was making pom poms with Harper and Theo.
Great play and everyone got involved in the moment.

What a splendid after school Autumnal session. The sky was orange and blue and a double rainbow graced the sky. A little chill around now so coats encouraged for all to wear. Pippa, Sonny and Phoebe had fun on the trolley riding on the grass. A football match took place with, Barney, Theo, Hendric (first game of football), Jack and Arthur. Seb, Harper, Keelan and Hendric had a little boxing fight. Then they pretended to do the long jump and they found the grass a little slippy. A fire was burning in the area where the maple trees grow. A nice glow on a dark night. Indoor games Quoridor enjoyed by Theo, Sonny and Seb. A nice fire is lit in the living room, very cosy.
Thank you again for providing such a fantastic club
