A small car ride and nice walk along to top camp with a group of boys and girls. Scroll down for photos.
We drove in the land rover up to Charmy Down; We really enjoyed squirting Alex and Anna's car! Walked along looking for pheasants, then onto the aerodrome. Explored the bunkers: lots of excitement. Henry suggested we hid like pheasants (something like that!). We reached the bunkers and played: Fin was English - the rest Germans! We came across a dog walker who let Henry throw the ball. We found some beach nuts and put them on our fingers and gave each other a scratch! We explored through the woods to top camp which everyone was excited about. Water play clay cranes; Barney was there waiting with a nice fire and the sausages cooking. Alex helped with the swing while Anna helped with the water play. Jonty really like the engineering, pipes, etc. Jasper enjoyed the hammock. Joe, Freya and ALice swung a lot, some sawed hazel poles and peeled the bark off to make their walking sticks: (which help them be wise!). Alex made the marshmallow sticks (really well!). We had fun!
